Inflatable hire - Terms & Conditions

Please kindly note by paying your deposit you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
​
Please read Terms and Conditions and ensure all Rules of Play are followed:
​
Inflatables:
​
1. Our Bouncy Castle is 10x12ft and 8.5 high, we require 1ft of space all around the castle as well as above, the ceiling height should be no smaller than 9.5ft.
​
2. Our bouncy castle is to only be used indoors, no outdoor hire.
​
3. Our inflatable ball pit is 8x8ft and requires 1ft of space all around.
​
4. Our inflatables require a power supply in order to operate with a blower, Please make sure there is a plug socket near where you are wanting the inflatables. We will bring an extension lead also.
​
Venue:
​
1. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to check the site measurements for the required package, and also to ensure that there will be adequate space surrounding the inflatable equipment.
​
2. We will need approximately 30-45 minutes to set up the party and the same to pack up and remove equipment. If you are having added extras we will need additional time so please check with us. Please take this into account when booking venue times.
​
3. Please leave or allow adequate parking space for delivery and collection times.
​
4. We can only deliver equipment to a suitably sized open space and we will not be responsible for removing furniture/etc. The Hirer must agree that the area where the goods are to be situated will be free from obstructions, and be close to plug sockets.
​
Delivery & Travel:
​
1. Delivery is free to all Medway towns plus Sittingbourne. Anything outside of this area there will be a small charge, Please contact us with a postcode for a quote if you haven’t already done so.
​
2. Please ensure easy access to the venue for unloading and loading of equipment. Any restrictions (lack of parking, stairs, narrow doorways etc.) must be reported to Taylor Tots Parties prior to the event. Failure to do so may result in delay to setting up.
​
3. We will endeavour to arrive and setup on time, however, Taylor Tots Parties cannot be held liable for delay incurred due to circumstances beyond our control (for example – traffic congestion, adverse weather etc.).
​
Outdoor set ups:
​
1. We do not set up our bouncy castle outside, only our inflatable ball pit.
​
2. If being placed on grass please make sure it is freshly cut so the grass is short. Please make sure there is no animal excrement on the floor.
​
3. Please make sure there is a plug socket nearby to prevent a trip hazard.
​
Outdoor Weather:
​
1. This equipment is not suitable in wet weather, please bear in mind if the ground is wet, or rain is forecast for that day, we will not be able to set up outdoors unless there is already a gazebo with sides or something similar set up.
​
2. In the event of light rain fall the inflatable ball pit must be kept inflated and the extension lead covered with a plastic bag. Never cover the blower vents.
In the event of heavy rainfall the inflatable should be switched off by the mains, cover the extension lead with a plastic bag and the blower once turned off. Wait for the rain to pass and switch back on immediately afterwards to allow the item/s to dry. Use towels where necessary.
​
3. If the forecast is for high temperatures we also recommend the set up being in the shade as the equipment can become very hot.
​
4. In the event of severe weather/acts of god on the day we have the right to cancel the booking. In such cases we will return any deposit.
​
Cancelations:
​
1. If for any reason you have to cancel your booking with us, we will be happy to refund your initial £50 deposit if cancelled within the first 14 days after payment. After this cooling off period we retain the right to keep the non refundable deposit.
Equipment:
​
1. All our equipment will be delivered in a clean and sanitary state. Should there be significant dirt or staining upon collection the Hirer will be made liable for professional cleaning costs. Equipment must be collected clean and undamaged.
​
2. If there is any damage, however slight, or any lost/stolen equipment an assessment will be carried out to determine how much you’ll be charged for a repair or replacement.
​
3. Please ensure that equipment hired is placed back to the set up area including balls in the ball pit so we do not spend time looking for items when we arrive to collect. This will also save you time if you have a set time to be out of a venue.
​
4. Please do not release our equipment to anyone other than our delivery drivers. If the driver who delivers to you is not the driver who will collect from you they will inform you and give you a description of the person/people coming to collect to avoid confusion and theft of our equipment.
​
Rules of Play:
​
It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring the inflatables to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage. Please ensure that the following Safety Instructions are followed:
​
1. All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges with pins MUST be removed before using the inflatables. Parents whilst supervising must remove their shoes. Any damage may result in the Hirer having to pay an additional fee.
​
2. For hygiene reasons, socks must be worn at all times.
​
3. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, ensuring
the safety of the children using the equipment. Taylor Tots Parties do not supervise. Taylor Tots Parties accepts no liability for any accidents or injuries incurred whilst the equipment is on hire.
​
4. No pets or sharp objects on the equipment.
​
5. No face paint, messy play, party poppers, streamers, confetti balloons or silly string to be used on or near the equipment. These items DO stain and DO NOT come off.
​
6. No food or drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the equipment, this will avoid choking and mess (please note if the equipment is collected in a dirty condition then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge).
​
7. Adults must not bounce on the bouncy castle, it is a child bouncy castle only, always ensure that the Bouncy Castle is not overcrowded and limit numbers.
​
8. Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the equipment, or any child who is feeling unwell.
​
9. Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls must not be allowed.
​
10. Do not allow anyone to be on the Bouncy castle during inflation or deflation.
It is your (the Hirer’s) responsibility that the equipment remains
undamaged. For any damages that occur, the Hirer will incur a repair charge payable immediately unless agreed otherwise. No items to be removed from the delivery location. Only Taylor Tots Parties staff are authorised to remove/collect equipment.
